The Big Easy in the Magic City: Big Sam’s Funky Nation Plays The Stage Tomorrow Night

Big Sam Williams

New Orleans funky, horny boogie machine, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, will be throwing down a fresh set rife with rhythm and groove at The Stage in Miami’s Design District tomorrow night (2/25).

It’s always a treat when Big Sam Williams and the gang come down to South Florida. They brought the house down at Tobacco Road’s 98th anniversary party last November and now they’re back to blow us down and pick us up all over again.

So really, there’s no excuse not to catch some great music tomorrow night. With a choice between Big Sam’s Funky Nation at The Stage, Keller Williams at Revolution Live and Cojunto Progresso at Transit Lounge, there are plenty of opportunities to get down.

And if you’re on a budget, here’s a hint: Transit Lounge is free and so is The Stage before 11 p.m. Happy dancing!

About clazaga5

I am a music writer. I graduated from FIU's School of Journalism and Mass Communications in April, 2011. I've always had a passion for music. Since high school, I've been involved in a few bands and written a good number of original songs. I loved going to shows and seeing live music. So when the notion struck me to combine the two, it seemed only logical that I write about live music when and wherever I find it. This blog is what came of that notion.
